Oh, well look at this ....another Democratic covid-life life saved by hydroxychloroqu

Former Presidential Candidate Amy Klobuchar's husband got severely ill with a Covid-19 pneumonia and was given hydroxychloroquine and turned the corner fairly quickly. Yes this is the same drug the radical socialistic dweebs out there (Nancy P, Joy Barhat, etc) compare to drinking chlorine or Getting a rustoleum enema.

Next time the anti Turumers, anti Hydroxychloroquine folk and "only a vaccine will lead to a restart of this country" start running their mouth, now you have ammo to tell them to STHU.

"To own firearms is to affirm that freedom is not a gift from government...As the Founding Fathers knew well, a government that does not trust its honest, law-abiding, taxpaying citizens with the means of self-defense is not itself worthy of trust."

The possession of arms by the people is the ultimate warrant that government governs only with the consent of the governed.

But WAIT! The W.H.O. has discontinued their trials and said that it's too dangerous. I suppose you can get that result if the drug is given to victims who are already at death's door.
“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

This and other threads would be better if you just leave out the politics and post your political commrnts in the "politics" section, which being a "super mod", you should know.

Well, you are wrong. This post is exactly where it belongs. Staff discussed this virus mess and made the decision to create temporarily this sub forum for these discussions.
Now if you have issue with someone, take it up in Private Messaging. And when staff needs calling down, I’ll do it. In Private.

It's exactly where it belongs as long as you have a politically biased opinion.

The Chinese virus and politics are inextricably entwined, both by their origin and what the Left has consistently tried to do with the economic disaster it has caused the nation and the world. Examine the mainstream media stories and you will certainly notice a trend.

There is no way to separate political discussion from COVID-19. It's been politicized since day one. What we have done is, make available the discussion of COVID-19 to ALL members here, while keeping the posts in one section. Is it perfect? Probably not. But it does allow for talking about the virus without having to be in Politics, and it keeps the posts in one place.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

Covid 19 can certainly be discussed without interjecting politics you just have chosen not to do so. Our country is as divided as I have ever seen in my 75 years and adding to the divide should not be a part of a gun forum, especially one that has a political section to discuss it. I would hope that a like minded group of gun enthusiasts could be more united by their love of firearms than divided by political convictions.

Well, in 11 and a half years I haven't seen that. We do manage to keep a level of decorum and respect for each other by following the general guidelines however.

As always, if you don't like a thread, don't read it. If you don't like a given member, block their posts from appearing.
