The governor of PA was sued over closing gun stores and the case was turned down by the State Supreme Court. However three state justices wrote such a strong compelling opinion that the governor reversed his decision and has since added them to the exclusion list. After all he IS a politician and this IS an election year.

We are good in Rapid City....................
There are "four boxes" that can be employed to resist the downfall of America, the ballot box, the soap box, the jury box and, lastly, the ammo box.

That should have been done in early January in Texas.

From what I know there are still no state health screeners in place.

At my son’s refinery in Sulphur, LA, they are checking and screening everyone at the gate when the workers come in. If you have fever, they turn them around and send them home.

    Louisiana: 2,746 CASES(including 119 deaths) 4.65 MILLION POP

Texas: 1,731 Cases (including 23 deaths) 29.47 MILLION POP

Want to tell us again how terrible a job Abbott is doing and how great a job Louisiana is doing?

Up until very recently, most of the counties in Texas didn't even have 1 suspected, let alone confirmed case so Gov. Abbott did what was in the best interests of the state. he left the stay at home orders in the hands of the individual counties. Look, we know people are going to contract it, we know people are going to die. But if you completely shut down all businesses it won't matter if covid-19 can kill them, many will die without conveniences of society.
Currently The CDC, FEMA and EMS services worldwide recommend the following:
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and do it frequently. If soap and water are not available, use a sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol (that's 120 proof in case you're wondering).
Avoid as much as possible touching your eyes, nose and mouth with other body parts. I would add, please dont attempt to use gardening tools to scratch your eye because it itches. It can't end well.
Avoid contact with people and maintain at least a 6 foot (2 meter) distance from others if you have to interact.
Remain calm, but also vigilant. Panic never helped anyone.
Don't be stupid or do stupid things.

So Texas should stop people at its state borders but not its Mexico border...now that is interesting. Must have come from...Austin?

...When my eldest son asked me what he should have done, had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908, whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defended me, I told him that it was his duty to defend me even by using violence. Actually, the Texas/Mexico border is closed as of a week or so ago. Only essential traffic is allowed.

With so much traffic in the gun stores now, I'm not sure I even want to handle a 'display gun'...

Now if we can get the Governor of PA to just reopen the Wine and Spirit stores life would be good.
