    Shuttered in Place

Last week Illinois Governor closed the state and issued a Shutter-in-Place to all but essential employees and for trip to the grocery store. Today the Governor of Wisconsin has done the same thing.

Here is the new catch. My wife just came home from work as her work is considered essential as it s controlled by the Dept. of Agriculture. She came in and explained that her employer had to issue each employee a letter to allow for movement to and from work. Apparently now anyone caught traveling w/o a letter will be ticketed!

    So much for civil rights.

Sounds like Marshall Law is just one short step ahead. Good luck to you and your wife during these troubled times.

As I write this, New Mexico's governor is issuing a very similar order. No groups larger than five, stay home, no unnecessary driving, all unnecessary businesses to close.

Waco is now shelter in place. City Payroll is “tier 1” essential services right up there with the police, fire and utilities. I see a ton of OT in my future.

The possession of arms by the people is the ultimate warrant that government governs only with the consent of the governed.
