Even in this time of a serious global outbreak, there are those in the media, and others, that will let nothing stop them from trying to make President Trump look bad. As sad as that is, I hope none of them get the China Coronavirus. It is what it is.

    Good job Mr. President!

I don't have to imagine. That's what our President is doing, but the MSM are too blinded by their Trumpophobic tendencies to see it.
The TDS crowd would most certainly still find something to crow about, but have a whole lot less of a solid footing to stand on while doing so. Not sure if you read the article I linked above, but it clearly states why the WHO has strongly tried to do away with naming viruses after locations, because of the strong bias that can develop (and has in the past) with such overtones and connotations that often form by using such branding. Our species loves a bad guy, loves a fall guy, that we can put a face to. Things can go badly when the face happens to look different from our own because of our built in biases. I'm fairly certain I've heard you mention your disdain for the negative bias being given to the "Old white guy" these days from many circles. You're absolutely right not to care much for that. That's the same kind of rhetoric, innuendo, bias, used on other groups (only often far far worse), and trying to make a conscious effort to get away from that kind of labeling that can lead to certain mindsets and biases can only be a good thing, not a bad one, regardless of the accuracy or validity of such a statement.

    Huffington? Really??

Why do you cite far left fake news as sources as if they are credible and unbiased sources?? It really undermines the point you are attempting to make.

In this case, the bad guy is real. The bad guy lied about this and covered it up for a month. The bad guy has threatened to essentially weaponize this virus - drown us in a sea of virus - for his economic gain. The bad guy is telling ridiculous lies to rewrite history and blame this on us. If this had originated in (random country) the Philippines, I might agree with you. But the Chinese government has made it absolutely clear that they will tell any lie, cover up anything they want to, so shift blame and avoid their responsibility. Thousands of people have died because of their actions. All around the world.

That is why I refer to this as the Wuhan virus, and only as the Wuhan virus. I will not participate in those socialist monsters coverup schemes.

Well if you must go that route, why not include many of the innocent Wuhan citizens (and all the Chinese citizens for that matter many of which also disagree with the way this was handled) that got caught up in this because of their government and give them something to embrace as well? How about the Xi Jinping virus?

I don't think any of us have anything against the Chinese people at all, other than eating bats. My best experiences of meeting people of various cultures have been the Chinese and Taiwanese folks over the years. I could go for the Xi Jinping virus, or the Communist Virus of China. The people of China have expressed their desire for freedom many times.

Curious if any news has come out of NOKO about how they are doing?

The liberal media just can't help themselves, it's like watching a compulsive drinker fight the urge and then finally give in. It's crap like this that gives them serious credibility issues.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

You have to realize though that eating bats in China is about as popular there as people that eat rattlesnake here. Of course it's done, hell I've had it before myself. I'm in the minority there though, it's not like you'll find it at major grocery stores. Should all Americans be identified with eating rattlesnake? Of course not that would be silly.

As for North Korea, last story I read out of there in response to their dealing with the virus, they are expediting the departure of those infected, greatly reducing its numbers and the spread. Of course, I have no way of verifying the accuracy of that story.
