Tomorrow, dine in or drink in areas of restaurant and bars ends at midnight. My barbershop already closed down, so I'm going to look like a late 60's hippy! I was around during the hippy movement, but didn't participate. All that stuff about free love didn't attract me unless I was upwind of one of those free love girls. Pretty bad hygiene had they! And no, a bald headed Hippy I will not be!

Far out! Just told my wife about this post, and told her I might regrow the ponytail of my youth. All I got was an ugly look.

While I might have started stocking up a little earlier than most, I neglected to reach out to my barber before this got out of hand. The way my hair grows I'll be going the ZZ Top meets Grizzly Adams route before the month is out unless I dare to take some shears to myself.

( I was the "barracks barber" in the AF - that's how I made my beer and motorcycle money). Back when i was not so vain about my looks, i bought a set of clippers and taught Mrs.Flash to cut hair. ................So when I start looking like a throwback to the 70's, she starts looking for the clippers.

Okay so I can't eat in a restaurant due to too many people being in close proximity, which makes sense, but I can board a plane where I could be shoulder to shoulder with hundreds?

I use clippers myself and have for almost 30 years. What the heck I don't have to look at myself.

They don't know when the egg delivery is coming, can be anywhere from 8am to 8pm.

As much as I hate the hassle of dealing with the chickens I do like the eggs they lay.
Well, we just don't eat many eggs. I just kept the chickens 'cause the wife thought they were cute. After a few years, she forgot about 'em (never goes outside) We have a friend at church with chickens and she brings eggs to church to give away. 6 eggs will last us 6 months unless the wife has a recipe to try that requires eggs. I can't eat pancakes or any sort of pastries anymore (type 2 diabetes). Every once in a while, I'll get the urge for bacon and eggs for breakfast, not often. I'll use 'em for breading backstrap or something occasionally.

About 20 years ago my wife and I bought a Wahl hair clipper with attachments. She taught herself to use it, and that same trimmer works to this day. I set it up with a 3/8" attachment, she does my hair, then I trim my beard. When you consider the average cost of a haircut over 20 years, it has saved us a small fortune. No hippies in my house, old or otherwise!
