when you stick you hand in your pocket put the tip of you thumb on the tip of the spur hammer and draw normally. I have the mod 85 and have a cheep unkle mikes pocket hoslter and My Dad taught me how to draw a spured hammer out of any pocket works great.

It looks to me in the first picture that they are the same snap caps I have for mine. I could be wrong but to me it isn't loaded.

Very nice posting. Too bad more people don't take the time for such projects...

    Way to go!

If you want a leather hat, I suggest a Barmah Backpack Traveler. Pretty much THE definitive Aussie bush hat.

Direct linked 'cuz I can't get to my Photobucket while at work.

will check this thread again tonight when I am able to see your pics. I have lots of spare leather laying about, been thinking about making a pocket holster.

I'm looking to do precisely that. got any hints for maing pilot holes for the sewing? I'll use an Awl, but I need a way to make the stitches uniform and to puncture the leather without putting the awl through my thigh...

Just what I needed, another project to try

Looks pretty good, especially for a prototype. Well done.
