    The difference

Every man should own a fine firearm, a fine knife and a fine watch.

Ammo will get you through times of no money, better than money will get you through times of no ammo.

If grasshoppers wore 45's (I assume 1911's) the birds wouldn't mess with them. I think both open or concealed would protect the grasshopper.

...When my eldest son asked me what he should have done, had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908, whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defended me, I told him that it was his duty to defend me even by using violence. Gandhi.

Why it gotta be the 1911? Grasshoppers fudds? Don't get me wrong they're proven etc and can be endlessly customized. But they're outdated now and when comparing in same price range and round many options are better. I own one. Never truly had it as edc. Bedside vehicle gun. But why they gotta be 1911 fuddhoppers?

Its an old saying, when it was started 45 and 1911 were synonymous, unless grass hoppers carried a revolver. Besides grasshoppers don't like plastic.
