I prefer holsters that provide a barrier between the gun and a sweaty body. I live in Florida which has more than its’ share of heat and humidity.
Some guns will rust if you don’t keep a thin coat of oil on the slide, safety and the slide stop lever.
I’m still looking for ideal holsters for my Ruger SR9-C and Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 9mm pistols.
Sure wish manufacturers and magazine reviewers would address potential rust problems in their descriptions.

I just receive a leather holster from TT Gunleather...beautiful but it doesn't fit into that price range.
However, y0ou might like Winthrop Holsters. Prices are in your ballpark.
