Another in the long sad list of reasons to carry concealed - Dennys shooting in Va

o many times success stories of concealed carry are posted on the internet its important to remember the times when there is no concealed carry someplace, whether it's due to the local laws or just people not carrying when they could've.

So many times you hear anti gunners or anti self defense types say "Just cooperate, give them what they want and you'll be okay." The victims fully cooperated and got shot anyway.

Ya pays your nickel and takes your chances. I risked a 5 year felony carrying in Ca without a permit for years. I figured it was worth the risk, that is, the risk of prosecution was lower than the risk of getting killed.

In VA of all places, where the governor has declared war on firearms.

    Yeah, I wondered about that
Va used to be pretty gun friendly until recently...if memory serves.

And you know the antis will just say this is proof that they need to get all the guns out of the hands of the public rather than that it is evidence that the good guys should be armed.

Sadly, MadKaw is absolutely right. "It didn't work, so we need more of it" - the classic liberal approach.

Concealed is concealed, I do it in gun free zones here. How are they to know unless you find yourself in a situation.
