How do y'all carry extra magazines?

I imagine this has probably been covered before, but since there wasn't one near the top, I am sure the info would probably be out of date anyway. So I have been thinking about carrying a spare mag, maybe two. I don't know if I want a plastic or kydex carrier though. So what do you guys use?

I use my left hand back pocket. Magazine remains vertical, bottom up. If needed, being right handed, drop the empty or almost empty magazine, grab spare from back pocket and insert.

A nylon clip-on mag holder on my left hip works for me. They make leather ones too but the nylon works just as good, IMO, and holds it there nice and steady.

I use a safariland leather horizontal mag holder. Works for all my mags from my tcp to my glock 17.

Dom Hume or Bianchi clip on single mag pouches.

I prefer the Don Hume (model417) but I ran into a Bianchi thst works for my Para and Witness in the used holster box at a LGS. I like clip ons because i can get closer to the belt loop than the ones you have to thread onto the belt.

I make mine. Kydex is cheap, and mag pouches are way easier to make than holsters .

Left front pocket. Used to use mag pouches but then I came to my senses and that method of carry clutters my waist line.

When OCing at 3:00 and belt clip for my phone at 9:00 no more clock space on the waist.

I have tried nylon and leather mag pouches. I like the clips as they are easier to swap out or remove temporarily, however I have had the mag body catch and lift up and off on chairs or in the driver's seat. For that reason I pretty much have settled on the belt loop design. If it's in my back pocket it becomes a pain in the butt. Currently my two spare S&W Compact Shield mags are riding in a leather DeSantis mag pouch which features a belt loop with heavy snaps to remove it without taking the belt off. The snaps are so aggressive that I usually end up taking it off anyway. Just got a nylon compact dual mag pouch for the TCP magazines.
“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

You guys mind posting pictures so I can get an idea what you mean. I really just wish watch pockets were on the left side of jeans too. I have my oc in there, but if it were on the left side that would be great. Anyway, the back pocket isn't great for me, I'm a truck driver so I sit on my ass a lot.
