I Got My Outbags TCP IWB Holster Today

The original promise was Monday...since they shipped USPS F/C from So CA on Wed.

It appears very well constructed with a heavy gauge leather that is VERY stiff. I was going to put it on and venture forth right away...WRONGO.

If I needed to draw it would take two hands to get that sucker deployed. It's sitting in the holster now wrapped in two layers of waxed paper...might be ready to go in a couple of days.

Any luck on making the holster work?
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

I am sure it's ready to go. I still have it in wax paper and worked it a little a couple of days ago to make sure it goes far enough down to cover the trigger guard. I haven't had to use the gun yet so no big rush. I will probably wear it tomorrow as we have a family get together at a restaurant. I'll do a "hip" report afterward.

If you want to form fit, i suggest soaking your holster in hot water. While its wet stick your wax paper wrapped pistol in and work it into exactly where you want it. Then take your thumbs and form fir the leather around the gun...Let it dry completely.......When its dry, oil the leather and your ready to go......used to do this In civilwar reenacting to form fit a new holster to my .44 cal remington........

Thanks! I checked it this morning and took the waxed paper off, pushing the TCP all the way in. Still tight, but holsters and unholsters easily enough. It will complete the forming between my spare tire and belt as it's an IWB model.

I went to wear it this evening and not sure if it's going to work out. As I mentioned before, I thought it rode high. I clipped it on the belt and it feels like the entire setup in sticking up..out of the waistband. I may have to work with it some more and/or write the maker to get further ideas from them.

Followup...I sent them a note stating that I love their other products that I've bought, but that the TCP holster was too top heavy and they should consider raising the clip to permit it to sit lower in the waistband. They sent back thanking me for the input and they would take it under consideration then sent a paid return authorization. Fantastic customer service!

I have several of their holsters, they relax in a few days and are fine. Mine are all the pancake style.
