My bones don't bend well enough to exercise and and my slight anemia caused by chemo meds insures I can't walk all that well, let alone run. The good news is that my type 2 diabetes has caused me to lose 25 lbs.

I want to lose 25 (more like double that) but that is a terrible price to pay for weight loss.

I have cut back on the number of keys I carry. Down to 3 on my key ring. the rest reside in my car for when I need them. That cut a lot of weight from my daily carry. I rarely carry an extra mag any more. Been working on changing my wallet to my front left cargo pocket. most of the time I forget, old habits are hard to change. I have noticed my back does feel better when I'm not sitting on my wallet. Reminds me of an episode of Seinfeld.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.
