    HOLSTER FOR 85CH AND 605 - RECOMMENDATIONS

I'm getting a bit frustrated. It seems each site I go to wants to make holsters for autos - at least I seem to have difficulties finding those for revolvers.

I'd like a leather holster for right hand, OWB and possibly a cross draw from left to right.

Anyone use a concealment holster for a Model 85CH or 605? ANy recommendations, comments?

    Thanks.

I have two from Don Hume, bought from GunnersAlley.com. My primary holster for the 905, (same frame as 85 & 605), is their JIT model.

I use a Galco Combat Master OWB for my Ruger SP101 and my Taurus 85SS,its around $80.00 and the workmanship not to mention the leather is top notch.

This is a very comfortable and sturdy holster.Even though its a open top,the retention is very good.

I've got to give a +1 to the Hume JIT. I've carried my 605 in one for quite a while. Great holster, small price.
    Old age isn't for sissy's!!

Due to the rising cost of ammo. A warning shot will NOT be fired!!

That is one impressive looking rig on your side.

The holster is the nicest leather holster I've seen.

Check out Simply Rugged Holsters. They make a model called "Silver Dollar Pancake". I have one for my 85UL. It fits like a glove and it only cost $45. It took me about 3 1/2 weeks to get it. They are all handmade.

I Believe In This Form Of "COMMON SENSE GUN CONTROL".....First, get a firm grip on the firearm.....Second, get a good sight picture on the target.....Third, blow the crap out of what you are aiming at.....I hope this "COMMON SENSE" method gets me to age 71 and older.....

Gotta agree with the Don Hume JIT slide. My 85UL loves it!

My El Paso Saddlery Street Combat holster showed up last week--LOVE IT! I had been packing my M850 in a Blackhawk Speed Classic for the last couple of years but that holster just didn't tuck the gun in close enough to my body and I was always worried about printing--no worries with the El Paso rig! Very high quality leather.
