Quick follow up to my comment above.

I actually unloaded my gun and put it in the holster. Then intentionally pulled the trigger. The thumbstrap keeps the hammer from any and all contact with the frame. I even unsnapped the strap (left it in place over the firing pin area) and pulled the trigger. Again, no way the firing pin could contact anywhere near the rear of the frame. I know that doesn’t resolve the safety issue altogether but is likely why the holster isn’t offered WITHOUT a strap. And, does make me feel a tad better.

Additionally, I moved the strap and the gun still wouldn’t fire because the hammer wouldn’t move without the thumbsafety and grip safety being deactivated. This was also the case in my above discussion but WITH the strap in place, I had to put a rubber band around my grip safety (to deactivate it) then pulling the trigger with the thumb safety OFF. Without both those safeties being deactivated, the hammer won’t fall THUMBSTRAP OR NOT. Likely another reason why a scalloped trigger guard area on a holster ONLY a good idea with a 1911. My opinion ONLY.

Ordered this a few days ago, for concealed carry of my Glock 19. Received it today. I have another just like it for my S&W Shield. The Shield holster made me a fan of these. The Shield holster has a steel clip, where this one has a polymer clip. I think I'm going to prefer the polymer. This holster is tuckable, and has worked out very well today.

    ^^^^^^Nice!

A G23 and G32 will also fit that holster should you ever go that route since they all share the same frame size.

Yes, that would be next, for sure. Two backup mags of 15 rounds each, plus 16 in the gun, makes that a very attractive carry option.

This is my Bond Arms 9 mm Bullpup. First picture is on the Belt and the second picture it's with a matching mag carrier. This gun has become my 100% everyday carry Wherever I Go. I wear a Hank's Gunner belt and the gun is light enough that I don't even feel it. The holster and the carrier are custom made for me by a leather worker here in Florida.
