With over 200 million firearms in private possession, in addition to a collective ammo round count of over a trillion rounds, it should be obvious that we in the firearm community and culture are NOT the problem!

    Exactly what it is!!

I think they still need to clean it up though because I keep seeing this part about going through or into a school zone isn't legal unless you have a permit. If that means just driving down the road and through a school zone, then that needs changed. That just doesn't seem right as that would be hard to imagine someone mapping around any/all school zones just to carry concealed without a license.

But maybe our transportation of weapons laws deal with this case instead.. And that the school zone in the new law is only if one was on foot or bicycle etc. which would kind of make sense. I'll have to do some more digging.
Thanks to all the Trump voters, we may have just started the country's reversal!

That is awesome news for Kansas! I hope more states take this approach and it starts to catch on. I think more states would like to do this, but they don't want to be on the leading edge of the movement. They would rather wait for others to step up first, and then jump on the band wagon as the movement gains momentum. I would love to see this in Michigan. Unfortunately, I don't foresee it happening anytime soon.
