Ohio has gone between a red and blue state in politics in past elections and is slowly glowing blue. If this passes it will be another toothache in BHO's craw. It should put Ohio in a similar gun category as Vermont. I hope it's contagious.

Sweet! That would be nice, especially if it spread here to WV.

I hope this goes through, then I would be alright carrying when I leave PA. Hopefully that gets through to the blockheads in Harrisburg, and we can get the same here.

Way to go Buckeye neighbors! Good luck and hope ya are successful with the movement.

Several southern states seem to get the bill brought up at times during session but end up with it tabled for future discussion. In truth, I really don't mind the permit process here as its pretty easy and allows for open and closed carry without any limits on purchases of firearms or ammo and no one particular weapon tied to the permit.

In fact, if they could adopt the stance some other states have and allow for a lifetime extension to the permit following a safe and uneventful initial permit period, that would be cool too. But, nothing like your state having your back regarding Constitutional liberties and with no paperwork to have to worry about keeping on ya. . . .

Reciprocity is BS to someone who carries while traveling. You're always at the welcome center checking new laws!
We need a national carry permit as well as a national hunting and fishing license. It's been discussed but tabled.
