Best Options in Quality Binoculars at a Great Price

Best Options in Quality Binoculars at a Great Price

We've been asked to put together a listing of what we feel are "Best Buys" in binoculars, from entry level pricing and worth looking through all the way up. This could be a crazy long listing but I will do my best to keep it somewhat reasonable.

We all are aware of the well known....
Meopta Meopro & Meostar Binoculars, Swarovski SLC, Leica Trinovids and Ultravids, however, this will be a list of binoculars that we have managed to grab crazy deals on that make them not only worthwhile to use but easier on the wallet. I'm putting this list in $$$ order, not best of order as I think every binocular here is worthy or quite honestly we wouldn't carry it. OH, being that you are all understanding on how pricing works, if this is in lowest to highest price order and something has no price you can kinda figure there's a deal on it in it's price slot and give a call, 516-217-1000, to find out the deal on it

Many years ago I was told that for the best visibility the magnification:aperture ratio should be at least 1:5. Has technology (or anything else) changed to the extent that this is no longer a good rule-of-thumb?

I think I know but am not sure, so could you explain what the designations mean such as 8x32, etc?

Have you come across a Romanian make, scopes and binos, called IOR. Quite popular in GB.

    https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/brand/ior-brand.html

But I preferred a scope made by Sightron. Really excellent quality scopes for around $1200. I had an 8x32x56 scope that was good for rabbits at 600m and I have shot targets at 1200 and steel at a mile.

Of course not. Why would I do that?
