    One might wonder if there is such a thing as ammunition shelf life. It's a good concern to have, as ammunition should only be used if one can rely on it to be safe.

    Granted, one might opine that if a person keeping sufficient ammunition to worry about expiring is probably not doing enough point shooting!.

    If stored at normal household temperatures and humidity they're good for decades, easily pushing a century.

    High heat & humidity are chemically & corrosively bad for long term (prepper-esque) bulk bullet storage.
    Unlawful homicide is murder. Murder is a mental health issue, not a 2A issue.

    Still shooting WWII ammo out of the Springfield 30.06, with excellent results.

    As the article said, I'm more worried about how it is stored, than how old it is.

    I have 35 45 acp headstamped RA 19. They shoot just fine. A friend told me the 19 is the year of manufacture. I got them from my Mom's Dad. He was a soldier in WW I.
