They are! They were $75 on lakeline and an advertised manufacturer $15 rebate. Although I haven’t received that it’s been about 3 months. Still happy. They are U notch similar to the Springfield hellcat (which by the way the G2C has better ergonomics than the 3 times more expensive hellkitty) also a combat racking rear sight with a slightly forward slant that really bites into edges for a one handed operation.

Sold both my G2C and my 709.
But meanwhile, I bought and still waiting for a TH9C and a G2S, and I'm getting ready to do the DAO only conversion as soon as I get the G2S. For that purpose, I went back to this thread to remember how it was done and looked up the Glock Blue 31 Newton Extra Power spring mentioned by Doc and that is what I ordered today.
Sik: How is it going with yours on reliability?

Got the G2s, the Lakeline striker guide and the 31 Nt spring.
The wire of the spring ended up being a tad too thick, so the spring’s inner diameter is reduced and the striker gets in too tight. The external diameter is bigger, so it has a tight fit inside the striker chanel. So, it didn’t work.
I ordered the 6 lbs Glock spring from Wolff today. That should do it.

Still in quasi quarantine, nothing else to do, so got thinking about that 31 Nt spring. But first I did some measurements on the mechanism of the G2s. The question of interest to solve is what is the Newtons that the original spring excerpts when compressed at the SA sear, because that would be the minimum rating needed on a spring when cocked in the distal position of the DA sear.
For that, I made a little spring compression device and measured it. The answer was 22 Nt. (about 4.9 lbs of force).
I proceeded to measure the nominal 31 Nt spring at the prescribed compression level, and gave me a reading of 32 Nt. That is a lot when compared against the minimum 22 Nt needed, so the question arises about over stressing the mechanism if it was somehow installed, and that it would raise the trigger pull to an undesirable high level.
I’ll wait for the 6 lbs (27 Nt) Glock spring to come.
