    Interesting!
I would have never thought of Greg Cote for a Taurus magazine!
Now if you need a CZ mag or a Tanfoglio (EAA) magazine he is top notch on those.
    great guy and company.

    Hi all,
Wow! That was fast. Ordered from CDNN 8/10, received ship notification the same day, arrived USPS 8/12.

    Four at 14.99 + 9.99 flat-rate shipping = 69.95/4 = 17.49 ea. Don't know if there's a better deal anywhere, but after paying Glock mag prices I'm satisfied.

Pics below. OEM mag has the orange follower. I'm not familiar with Mec-Gar mags, but these look legit to me. If anyone can refute this opinion or knows of a hidden mark of some sort to look for, please do so for my and our Forum's benefit.

EDIT: Mmmm... don't know yet how to edit text between pics. This forum behaves differently than others I'm used to.

The first four pics are self-explanatory. The fifth pic is an example fit of one of the Mec-Gar mags. A tiny gap is apparent, but if the mags perform reliably I don't really care. This is the worst of the bunch, too. I'm used to butt-ugly steel AK-47 Com-Bloc surplus mags that just work; ugly can be beautiful .

I'll post performance in a few days after I've fired a few hundred rounds at a friend's outdoor range tomorrow.

EDIT: I discovered that the baseplate on both the OEM and Mec-Gar mags have a tiny amount of slop in them, and that simply pushing the baseplate forward or rearward will create or eliminate the gap. Note to self; duh!

EDIT 8/15: Twenty five or so rounds through each Mec-Gar mag ran perfectly yesterday. No FTF or mag release problems. Equivalent to OEM as far as I can tell.

    Good Shootin'

MY newest Mec Gar mags (Tanfoglio & CZ) also have the blue followers, likely the latest design follower?
as for fast shipping CDNN , I have ordered two weapons from them and both arrived at my FFL on the second day from ordering.
