Picked up my new shield and a TCP jumped into my hands

I ordered a new SW Shield 45 from Palmetto State Armory, it took 4 business days for them to process and ship and only 2 days for it to arrive at my LGS. I consider that a great experience. Thank you PSA. Well while the LGS was finishing their part of the 4473, I saw a nice TCP in the case. Couldn't resist.

I was very pleased with PSA , the whole experience was simple and straight forward. With the rebate my cost for the Shield was $239 out the door. The TCP is very lightly used and was $165 out the door. A full review on both pistols will come after this weekend. A few quick observations. The shield was packed with quite a bit of factory lube, both in the pistol and one of the mags. The sandpaper grip texture is rough. I may end up with a Talon grip,,not sure yet. The ergo's are excellent and the trigger pull seems close to 5 lbs, with a short reset. The TCP..WOW. As many of you know this is an amazing little pistol. Good ergos, very sweet trigger, and this model looks amazing. Now the question to be answered; Which one has more felt recoil? Hmmm. Can't wait to let them out to play.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

Congrats on the new pistols! It's been awhile since I've had my TCP out, but as I recall the recoil is similar between the two. Looking forward to your experience!
