How to dissasemble my Taurus 24/7 G2 .45

I have watched many videos, but the farthest I get to is the part where I pull the slide back 1/8 and push down the disassemble tab. Everyone on the videos says to pull the trigger and the slide will come off. I have fired around 60 rounds through it, please help. thanks

    I cannot get 24/7 G2 .45 to disassemble

I have watched all the videos and read all the how toos. I get to the point when I slide the slide back 1/8 then press down on tab, but when I pull trigger nothing happens. Anybody have any ideas?

I remove the magazine, check the gun is clear, move slide back 1/4 inch, push both tabs down while holding the slide back, pull the trigger, then push slide forward. The slide needs to be moved forward, it will not slide off on its own.

BE SURE NO AMMO IN GUN - THEN Pull slide back slightly to release pressure on slide lock; both sides of slide lock must be pulled down evenly; release slide and let it return to it's forward postion while continuing to hold down slide lock bar; then pull trigger to release slide w/slight thumb pressure on rear of slide; slide should slide right off.
