Question Fair Price for 24/7 OSS 9mm?

    Howdy, y'all!

I'm thinking of selling my Taurus 24/7 OSS 9mm (desert tan) at the Wanenmacher's Show this weekend. It's essentially in New condition. I sent it to Taurus last year for maintenance and they sent it back with a new slide, barrel, guide rod, and recoil spring. So...yeah; essentially new except for the frame, which means the next owner will get a nice, slicked-up trigger. Since it's no longer being produced, and there isn't even a long-slide version of the G2 available, what do you reckon I can get for this thing? I have all of the original goodies that came in the case, one extra mag for a total of three, and no noticeable wear and tear on any of it.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks, guys!

    Kyle

I would probably say $400 is highest realistic price, so I might start at $450. Most likely it's going to be around $300-350.

I got $350 for mine used a few years ago. $400 would be a good price.

There are two .40 S&W versions at Guns for Sale - Online Gun Auction - Buy Guns at GunBroker.com and both have a asking price of $400. GunsAmerica Buy Guns Online and Sell Guns Online - Gun Auctions has them for $500 or much higher.

Buy & Sell Guns Online at GunAuction.com - New & Used Guns For Sale has a 9mmx19 version for $400. $450 seems about right.

It sounds like you guys are coming up with similar figures. Thank you very much for your input. I saw those GunsAmerica listings and figured they weren't going to actually sell. $500 seemed excessive; $400-$450 sounds like a good asking price, ending up somewhere between $350 and $400.

But none of those have a single bid, so the market is saying that price is too high. If you search the completed auctions on gunbroker the actual selling prices run $250-$350 with one outlier that went for $499 for some reason. It was also a tan, but in .45 ACP. Somebody wanted it and hit the Buy It Now.

You go back and you see a few higher prices, but they are erratic. A gun will fail to sell listed below $300 and it sells on a re-list at over $300.

I bought my OSS .45 NIB about 3 years ago for $320 + $15 FFL from Bud's. As these are the fine pistols and they're discontinued, the prices of the used ones might jump up to $400.
