    rule number one, a sticky

This is a question for a moderator, just wondering if it might be a good idea to make "RULE NUMBER ONE" (a post I just read in The Firing Line) a sticky? Would be a good read for new members and a reminder for everyone.

I'm not sure that I know what you're looking for. I think maybe you should check out the FAQ section and see if what you're looking for is in there.

I'm thinking that art was referring to this thread: http://www.taurusarmed.net/forums/in...?topic=11936.0

    Hope that helped, Flyer.
I personally agree that that thread should be stickied, because of the visceral reminder it provides. I never put my hands in front of my weapons' muzzles unless I had them dissasembled, and even then I still have to double-check myself. I don't ever want to give myself one more orifice than the Lord God decided to give me.

Here's the thing ... we could sticky this, then the next scenario that comes up like that we would be obligated to sticky that as well. Now, mind, you, this doesn't happen often, thank goodness, but eventually we would have a stack of stickies that covered half the front page.
