Survival Forum

Would there be any in favor of a survival forum, kinds of store to have on hand in a SHTF situation, ways of preserving meats and foods, power generation, natural medicines, water sources etc? Better than having them scattered in other sections?

I am fairly new and dont know if that would have its place here or not. I would deffinetely have interest if you did. What I suggest is picking a place to post the threads you have in mind and sticking with it. If you create enough interest then other people will also start to chime in. If you are posting in the wrong place to start then I believe the moderators will come along and move your post to a better container for us all to follow the survival posts in.

oh, another idea came to me. If you make a post the information in it and keep it up in the same thread then you could possibly get a sticky. That might be the ideal situation for these types of posts.

It seems like I remember seeing someone takl about a survival forum, dedicated to survival instancts and what not. I think that would be better suited to a dedicated forum, rather than it's own section. Besides, that doesn't really contribute to the subject at hand, Taurus guns and Taurus enthusiasts.

They're has been multiple posts lately about survivalist material. I think it would be a good sub-forum to have, at least under the General Category.

We (the Staff of Taurus Armed) don't feel that adding an Emergency Preparedness section fits in with our mission of being a Taurus (primarily) firearms forum. There are many forums for this that you can check in on for additional info.

Personally, the preparedness forum I frequent most is over on Gunboards.

There are forums out there dedicated to survival skills and preparedness, this forum isn't.
