Do they stay open after the weapon is drawn?

As the title asks, is it a rigid material that stays open after the weapon is drawn (with the holster mounted IWB), or is it a softer material?

    Thanks!

It's leather and kydex, with a little bit of steel in the hardware. But re-holstering is not an issue for me. I have my belt tightened enough so that I don't experience sag, and when practice drawing at home (with snapcaps) I have no issue getting a positive feel on a good re-holster.

I have an Uncle Mike's IWB it's a soft leather type material holster and have no problem re holstering but I am more concerned about a good smooth draw with a good purchase on the gun rather then re holstering fast. In a self defense situation it's not about putting your weapon away it's about presenting it, then if needed using it to stop the threat then checking your surroundings to make sure your safe and it's clear. Now if the threat is not dead you will need to make sure there weapon is out of reach while keeping them covered and do this until the police arrive.

Yes it stays open even with your belt cinched up tight so your pants don't droop from the weight of the gun.
Always remember to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle your targets
    Reduce them to shreds
Reuse shoot them more than once
    Recycle whatever is left over

No offense meant here, at all.
But why not answer the question the guy asked, than explain how you would treat a threat?
    Again no offense meant.

To the OP, I can't say enough how impressed I am with my Theis. It fits both my 3rd gen pt111 and 2nd gen pt145. It rides very comfortably and I can get a good handle on the grip in a draw and it's an easy re-holster.
