Goodness Coop, have you lost your marbles! A 45 Colt with a proper length cylinder, what are you thinking! I would be on one like a fly!
I got to looking at my Taurus classics. Models 441, 689, 741 & 941. A .45 Colt should have been included in this style. If you've ever seen a Taurus Mountaineer1 (.44 magnum) you know where I'm coming from. A revolver with Anaconda styling for the common man lol.

Make a proper one with the right throats and +p loads and I'll take one too. I need to shoot cast so good deep rifling and proper throats is a must.
Hey, guys, let's not get too crazy here.
I'd be happy with a good, tight gun with proper throats (I went through the Rugers with the .448-.450 throats and .452 bores, too), a heavy and/or full under lug barrel available in 4, 5 or 6,and 8 inches and, most importantly, ports needs to be an option or at least no ports needs to be an option. Using it as a carry gun is always an option with a 4 or 5 inch barrel and shooting a ported big bore from the hip ain't something you'll want to do more than once. A skinny serrated or checkered trigger for those of us that like to shoot DA would be a nice touch, too, but that ain't happening.
Here you go.

Yup, I've been saying for years that Taurus needs a large framed .45 long colt. I'd be perfectly happy with an M44 type frame and 6.5" barrel!

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.' Thomas Jefferson
