I borrowed one from a friend and took out for a day. Man was it fun to shoot. I think I'm gonna have to get one.

I own a Rossi revolver and like it but have never owned a levergun and am interested in your experiences with this model. Its also in stainless with a 16 in. barrel so tell me what I need to know before I hit the buy button lol thanks guys.Attachment 20361Attachment 20363
I have a Rossi lever gun in .357 Mag and .45 LC . I love them both .

I load home cast bullets in all my handgun calibers . Both the .357 & .45 are economical to load for and have light recoil .

    God bless
    Wyr

any problems that you may have can be fixed easy also the tune up from STEVES guns dvd and his parts. He is a great guy I have talked with him on the phone several times and he will help you any way he can. I plan on getting a colt style revolver single action soon now addictive. for sure I played the the tactical for a while now I like the cowboy guns.

I'm with you on the cowboy actions stuff. Here is a video from my NCOWS posse. Johnson County Rangers - YouTube NCOWS is a bit different than SASS but both are cowboy action just different approaches to it.

The only 357/38 I've seen in a while now is this one Rossi 357 Mag Lever Action w/24" Octagon Blue Barrel/Walnut $478.00 SHIPS FREE

Which is 24" octagon barrel blued version. I have the 20" octagon barrel with case hardened/blued in 45 Colt. Little difference in feel between 20" and 24" in round barrel if you find one.

Thanks for the advice on the 20 vs 24,next time I see one I'm going to hit the Buy Button with whatever object I can reach

I know the feeling for sure. I've been there a few times myself in the past and probably will again in the future.

I forgot to mention that I bought a Marlin 357 brass mag follower on-line for $3.95 plus shipping. It works great in my Rossi 357/38 but is a little longer. I can still load 10 rounds of 38 though.

That is good to know for sure, as I might pick a backup for my Rossi 45 Colt rifle. Length shouldn't effect loading at all as it would just cover a bit more of the spring.
