Rossi 92 headed to Florida

Bought a new .44 Mag Rossi M92 a few months ago and it wouldn't exact the cases. I tried a few different brands and they all had the same issue.

Hopefully it will be good to you when it returns home. Now if I could only find the same gun in .357.

I have a 45LC that I picked up to shoot in NCOWS and had the same problem. I sent mine back to them and got it back in 2.5 weeks which isn't too bad really. Oh and no parts just simple adjustment. Since it came back I've fired 100 rounds of Blazer JHP, 50 rounds of Winchester cowboy loads and 50 rounds of Magtec cowboy loads with out a problem. Now I have it with a friend of mine smoothing out the action and adding some of the Steve Young aka Nate Kiowa Jones modifications to it.

Yes that is what the told me and it would of been two weeks from the day they got it till it was scheduled to return. Fed Ex said we was closed the day it was scheduled which we where not. They then held it 3 more days before I could pick it up in person. So it actually took a little over 2 full weeks but less than 3 weeks.

The Rossi showed up yesterday. Hopefully I'll get it to the range this weekend. In testing it looks like they fixed it. Full review to follow.

I got to try mine today for the first time in Cowboy action after the fix by Rossi then the Steve Gunz tune by a local gunsmith for me. I shot 5 stages of 10 rounds each without a single problem of any kind. I wished I shot my pistols as good as had clean stages with the rifle but the hand guns let me down today. Just could hit anything consistent with them at 20 yards. Oh well another day soon it might happen.

Well I was finally able to take the 92 to the range. After a bit of testing, it looks like it's fixed as long as I don't baby it. It's quite accurate and a review should be forthcoming when I get a chance.

If you mean not babying the lever stroke, every lever gun I've ever fired needs the lever moved with authority. Otherwise, aaaarrrrrrgggggh!
