New carbines!

Announced at the SHOT show....New for 2011 Taurus is going to be making a carbine available in 9, 40, and 45. It looks awesome!

With 31 rounds in 9 mm, this may be my first and only 9 mm I'd have to have. If it came with greater than a 10 round magazine for .45, I'd get that.

.45 only 10 rounds? 33 for 9mm and 15 for .40? Kinda strange. I'd hope the mags match one of their pistols.

I would prefer something more like a styling of a 30 Cal M1 carbine with wood stock, only in those calibers. A 20 round stick magazine in .45 acp would be all I would want. I wish Marlin had continued to make the Camp Carbines.

They could definitely have me with a retro look and price of $500 or less. I guess I'll pass on the Tacticool look that looks weird.
