I'm sure you will love it, the only real problem I've known anyone to have is not liking the sights but thats an easy fix.
Just bought a new Puma, 45 colt, 24 inch octagon barrel. Problem is its got the brass reciever and buttstock and its just to darned purty too shoot it, if you know what I mean. Seriously I paid $525.00 for it and I sure love the looks of it, hope it shoots good, it will go good with my Judge and Old colt revolver. Thanks

Fill your hand you S.O.B. John wayne... true grit
I've got a Puma in .45 Colt, blued with a 16" barrel. It's a lot of fun to shoot! The sights are adequate but you certainly could improve on them with an aperture site. Enjoy, I think you'll have a great time with it!

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.' Thomas Jefferson
Mine's the 20" octagonal, with color case hardening. Nothing at all wrong with the function of the rear sight, it's just not near as attractive as the rest of the rifle. That can be fixed though, and hopefully I'll get around to that before to long.
Congratulations on your new rifle, they are a hoot to shoot.![]()
