Did you ever try cleaning the firing pin channel?
Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone else had bad luck with a Break action Rossi Rifle. I had my 223 for about 2 months before turning it into a gun store.
My problem was that every 3rd or 4th round it would not fire. There were primer strikes on all the unfired shells, just shallow ones. I read problems about the transfer bar safety given primers problems. But It didn't matter how hard I yanked, or what bullets I was using, nothing seemed to work. I was very disappointed in the rossi and don't plan to buy another, but this section has given some hope, as alot of you have had good experiances.
Thanks

What Jake said. And what kind of ammo were you using, and did you try different brands?
When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

Yeah I cleaned it put good. And as far as ammo goes, during my AR craze I had a steady selection of black hills, remington, wolf and pmc and it really didn't do too well with any of them. It did the best withthe pmc but it still had two out of ten misfire
