The specs show 410/45Colt. Can you imagine if they made it 410/454Casull/45Colt.
Or 45/70.
Or 38/55.

You could hold off a lot of Indians with that gun!

Very interesting. It would have to have a lot of freebore for a pistol bullet to travel through before it enters the forcing cone and rifling. I wonder how accurate it would be with the pistol rounds. It would work fine with a revolver such as the Judge but I'm not sure how it would work in a rifle.
Character and Ethics count, don't leave home without them. Or your CCW!
Were I to be drawn towards a 67-68 gauge, especially of revolving action, I most certainly would take the longer barrel and fine furniture, as opposed to that monstrosity referred to as a late 60's Pontiac muscle car.
If enough sell then maybe they'll introduce the revolving 28 gauge, District Judge/Territorial Judge and offer a special order 32 gauge, Gentleman English Bob Reveling Pheasant Flailer for the discriminating birding experts and fine firearm discerning aficionados.
Seriously, the bore difference between 20 & 12 gauge is roughly the same as the difference between .410 & 32 gauge.
32 & 24 gauges are produced outside of the US.
How can that ammo be any more expensive than the .410?
I don't know 410 and 45 Colt sounds good to me, besides I love that furniture.

That thing is pretty, but there are a couple of problems.
A .410 revolving shotgun doesn't do much for me. If they made it in 30-30 ir 7MM or some kind of practical rifle caliber, I would be more interested.
Second - that design has been proven to present problems due to stuff coming out of the chamber and getting thrown forward and hitting the hand/arm holding the front - which forces the shooter to hold it with both hands back on the pistol grip area.

In looking at the larger pictures, it kind of looks like there may be a flange around the front of the cylinder to prevent the blowout you described, although I would think this might cause more blowback.Originally Posted by Big Ugly Tall Texan

A .243 or .30-.30 would be a great idea. I still want to know what these will go for.
