    Model 66 Good Price?

I'm looking at a 4" Stainless Model 66 for $275 plus tax. It is used with no visual wear or scratches. Seems like a good price, what do you think?

Edit: It came home with me see pictures below.

I'd buy that right away if I did not already have one. That is even better than what I paid for
my blued 4" three years ago. I bought mine for around $ 300.00 and that was at least three
    years ago.

Thanks ncfarmer & jimb1972 for the quick response!

Went to the gun show looking for Model 608 and ran across this 4” Stainless Model 66 Revolver, the dealer told me he would take $275 + tax and back ground check. Wanting the Model 608 I never really bothered to check prices on the Model 66. I noted the model and price on his business card and moved on. Left the show to clear my head and check some prices online. McDonalds was 5 minutes away and I knew they had free Wi-Fi so I went for an Iced Tea and some research (glad I brought the laptop).

Posted about the Model 66 here and started checking prices on a few other things. After coming back here and seeing the quick two responses I headed back to the show to make a deal. The model 66 was still there, the dealer said “I see your back give me $275 out the door and it's yours.” Needless to say it came home with me. Now to find some wood grips.

You knew $275 was a da--ed good price before you asked the question. Why such questions. I knew you jumped on it when I saw what it was and the price; besides, you are a gun savy member here, not a newbie!

I was second guessing myself all the way. Second day of the show and still there had me wondering.

New, the Taurus Model 66 in stainless is over $440 at the cheapest place you can find it. You did great Grasshopper! $340 would have punched my buttons.

    A well used Model 66 stainless in S & W is now $500

Sounds like a steal to me!

I can't even find a model 94 for that kind of money around here.

That's what I paid for mine! But then I had to add shipping and transfer fees and that bumped it up to over $300.00. You got a great deal! Looks like yours is in better shape than the one I got.
Let us know how it shoots, ok?
