Will S&W firing pin springs fit in a new Taurus?

Just wondering if anyone has tried this, or are the S&W springs too small?

In my limited experience, they are different, sometimes very much so. I've got an S&W Model 12 that has a flat main spring. Many of the Smiths use flat springs. A Taurus 66 uses a compression (coil) spring if I'm not mistaken. My Rossi has a compression spring, as do the S&W J-frames. Why would you want to use S&W springs in a Taurus? Springs are cheap.

Wolff makes spring kits I have never used them but have a GS that does a few and they claim makes a world of difference. Just remember if you call Taurus and ask them,,, they will tell you dont do it, they wont cover your gun under warranty if its modified. I have a friend that has a Taurus 85 hammerless and cant pull the trigger, she called Taurus, now she wont do the trigger job .

Oh no,I meant the firing pin spring ,say for a new model 82. S&W uses a similiar firing pin spring but I don't know if it will fit. I think I'll just order one and try it.
