    speed loader and poly protector

I bought a k&s 36 speed loader for my poly protector and the grips will not allow you to use the loader. Any suggestions.

I thought I saw a poly grip with the notch for a speed loader somewhere in here recently. Hopefully someone has some info on this.

I'd love to be able to use a speed loader with mine too. I'll be watching this thread closely...

One of the aftermarket grips I looked at had a cutout for a speedloader.

You happen to remember where you saw it? Thanks

My Poly .357 is in Miami being repaired. Seems that .357 magnums are not liked a whole lot and it quit doing anything. Anyway, when I get it back I'm going to break out my Dremel and trim down the left side of the grip so I can use my H&K speed loaders. It's been back there a month now and hope to have it back next week.

Got my Poly back from Taurus today. They said that the forcing cone was undersized, the front sight was loose, and the headspace was undersized. Headed to the range in a few days to see if .357 mags will tear it up again before I go back to carrying it. In the meantime, I took care of the speed loader problem with the old Dremel. Shaved down the left side of the grip to the inside tabs and cleaned it up. Not "super curved", but the speed loaders work just fine now, and the grip doesn't interfere with the ejection of cartridges.

I bought 2 Tuff quick strips for loading my 85 with. I choose the pink color to prevent pilfering by others at the range.

I think I'll follow suit and truncate my grip. First I need to get to the range a couple of times and make sure everything is functioning properly. Let us know how your repairs turn out.
