I am seriously going to sell the Ruger SP101 327 3-inch stainless, but I will probably have to sell it locally, just because of the shipping cost - the extra $45 it costs me to ship it is probably a deal killer. I'm looking for $400 for the SP101 - it is like new, in original Ruger box. But then add the $45 shipping and ... bummer!

Thanks for your interest, though. I was kind of asking if anyone wanted to buy it, tongue-in-cheek. Not because I don't want to sell it, but because of the shipping cost.

Anybody want to buy a Ruger SP101 3-inch stainless in 327 Federal Magnum? I'm keeping the Ruger SP101 3-inch in 38 Special, and the Taurus M327.

$$$$$ ? or are you interested in a 9mm Taurus Slim in trade?

Please take that to the Classifieds: Firearms. That's where the selling thing belongs if that's what's going to happen to somebody here. Thanks.

Site guidelines thing don't you know.

I apologize for the misunderstanding! I am NOT selling anything on these forums. I wrote a review in which I honestly stated that I had decided to sell one of my handguns. I -jokingly- asked "Does anyone want to buy it?"

It was tongue-in-cheek. I will be selling it locally, face-to-face, not on the forums.

Again I apologize for the misunderstanding.

No harm or foul and no need to apologize. I just wanted a mild reminder to get everyone on the same page.

There's no rebuke to you or anyone else meant. Shake virtual hands and go ahead and proceed.

UPDATE: Carried the Taurus M327 3-inch stainless today!

I carried the Taurus 327 today for the first time, in a Galco SUM158 IWB holster. It carried very comfortably! I didn't have any 327 Federal ammo, except target rounds, so I carried with 32 H&R Magnum 100 gr JHP rated at 1100fps. Muzzle energy should be about 265 ft/lbs - comparable to 38 Special and well above .380 Auto out of a mouse gun.

The 3-inch Taurus is lighter than my normal belt carry pistol, which is a CZ75D PCR 9mm. Of course the CZ has 14+1 capacity, too. But I didn't feel undergunned at all with the 327, and it will definitely be in the carry rotation. I'm really liking this revolver so far!
