    M605 Protector Polymer Holster OWB

I am new to the forum and hope to learn from you all. Originally came here looking for a holster for an M605 Protector Polymer, none anywhere I tell you. Called Taurus, they said try the lcr or bodygualrd holsters, nope. Any ideas folks? Custom, nobody I have found has the mold to make one.. Oh, I need owb..

I have to admit I am no expert on the M605, but it looks to me like it is close enough to the M85 I have - you SHOULD be able to use any holster made for a standard S&W J-Frame revolver. There are a million of them. Before ordering online, take your gun into a LGS and try it in a couple to confirm.

For less bulk you might wanna try a pancake style holster from "Simply Rugged" www.simplyrugged.com

They make good quality holsters and reasonable prices.

If you carry in an Uncle Mike's® Super Belt Slide Holster size# 36, it will be far easier, and faster; to draw. See here..........

I'm wearing a Crossbreed Super tuck with my 605, but it's not a polymer protector. I also have an owb from Tucker gunleather.

Any holster for a J frame will fit your 605. I like the Don Hume JIT for my 605. They are inexpensive and very well made.

Don't give up the ship!! Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry!!
Due to the rising cost of ammo. A warning shot will NOT be fired!!

While a holster for a J frame S&W®, or Taurus® Mdl 85 will fit a 605; THAT IS NOT TRUE FOR POLYMER Mdls 85/605. The Polymer guns ARE LARGER than the all metal ones! OP will most likely have to have a holster custom made as suggested above by MOONDAWG (who ALWAYS gives good advice IMHO).

Like you I'm new to the forum and was really thinking about buying the 605 protector, what can you tell me about the gun and did you have any luck finding a holster? When I bought my 24/7 Pro Compact I had the same problem finding a concealable holster for it. I live in Alabama and the little town I live in doesn't have a gun store unless you count Wal-Mart. Any information would be helpful and appreciated and welcome.
