the screw just above the trigger secures the cyl., don't losse the detent spring/pin when you pull i out.
I have a older Model 357 mag and I was trying to do a detailed cleaning of it.
I read the sticky on how to disasemble a Taurus Revolver and I can not seem to get the cylinder off the frame.
Can someone lend me some assistance here, I dont want to break anything but I do wish to clean it up really good.
The gun has a low round count overall, probably less than 500 rounds total down the pipe and is in like new condition, never carried and cleaned after each use.
I am thinking that after 19 years it may need to have the old grease cleaned out and replaced and a good soaking in Hoppes #9 to clean the cylinders and barrel wouldnt hurt either.
Any ideas?
