    Latest addition to the family

Last Valentine's Day my wife bought me a Taurus M44SS4 and since her birthday is just a around the corner it was time for me to ante up. This is the newest member of our family and her personal carry weapon. Taurus M605SS2, .357 mag, 2" barrel and boot grip. She keeps it loaded with Federal HydraShok 129 gr. 38 spl +P to manage the recoil. Range report to follow as soon as we get out to the local one.

She should enjoy that 605 - they are great snubbies. Congrats !

I bought it as an addition to her XD-40 sub compact, there's just something about the simplicity of the wheel guns that appeal to both of us and she finds the Taurus to conceal much more easily. Next come the accessories,,,,,,,,,,,,,laser grip, holster, new fanny pack..............the joys of outfitting the new gun.

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.' Thomas Jefferson

I like that M44 ! Btw, I think she'll love her 605 too. Good choice on the ammo too, I've been carrying 230g hydrashoks in my 45's since about 1991 and love them.
