How common is .327? I don't make it routine to purchase calibers that can't be found commonly or easily, in case ammo becomes short or limitations become whatever can be made or found.

You can run .32's in a 327. .327's are to expect to run that through it for a full range day.

I'd love a .327. The caliber is almost perfect for CCW as is the size..
But.....
Finding ammo is hard. After shooting for over 40 years I have a rule. If I can't buy ammo in Wally World or Ace Hardware I don't buy the gun.

I had looked at a Ruger GP100 in .327 Magnum just about a month ago. The ONLY ammo that the shop could get was from Speer, and was SD ammo. Too expensive to add yet another caliber to my mix.

CDNN issues around five catalogs a year. They have weekly email specials, and are routinely as low priced as anything I've seen. Check out the prices for Mini-14 20-30 round mags, and then the refurbished 20 rounders.

I have catalogs going back to late 2005. Good people to deal with. Shipping is more than reasonable, too.
