Tnx so much for taking and sharing those pics -- they are just so cool and I truly feel like I've gained a bit of important knowledge!

Okay, I know it's not a Taurus, but these guys asked!

This is a closer picture of the S&W 681 with the Crimson Trace grips. The laser is in the "bump" on the top of the right grip. The on/off switch is recessed in the bottom of the grip, and the momentary switch is right where your middle finger wraps around behind the trigger guard.

This shows the laser in operation.

    Happy, guys?

I added some new grips to my 608 today and also my 9mm cougar. These are from the Houge Custom Shop. They're the same as the standard checkered grips but stippled rather than checkered. They feel very nice with a positive grip on the weapon. I'm taking them to the range tomorrow or Wednesday and give them a work out.

those grips look very good on your guns,i can't tell you when the last time i've handled a gun with wooden grips, today it's all about plastic or rubber on grips.

Thanks. Yup, your right. I had a set of Pacmyers on the 608 and the factory plastic on the 9mm. The 9mm is a carry gun but the 608 I just shoot at the range. I have large hands so every little bit of extra grip I can get helps.

Re: Show Us Your Taurus Revolvers

Well, I went to gun show this weekend and didn't find anything that was on my wish list. Gun prices were higher than the shops in town and everything else for the most part was junk. So .......... I went to one of the local shops that was having a sale this past weekend and since they didn't have a 6 1/2" 608 I bought a 6 1/2" M44 instead. I had given my .44's to my kids (grown) and in a moment of weakness I bought the one below. I think I'm going to like it, though!

    sweet.....
When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."
