    Taurus .41 magnum revolvers

Has anyone ever seen a blued .41 magnum Taurus revolver? I just got to thinking about it after reading another .41 mag Taurus thread and I don't think they ever made any.

I also wonder if Taurus ever produced the .41 mag Tracker model 425 in a 6.5 inch barrel length?

Where the old model 415's ported?

I dont think Taurus did make a blued 41mag. Not sure about the 6.5" Tracker, but yes my 415 does have 6 ports. Three on each side of the front sight and they work great.

Taurus has .41Magnum Raging Bulls. Am thinking of getting one myself. I could be wrong, but if the .41Mag RB and the .44Mag RB are the same size that could mean that they differ only in chamber and bore diameter. IF (big if) that is the case then .41Mag RB will have MORE STEEL than the .44Mag RB. That means you can really HOT, UP-LOAD the .41Mag!!!!

I recently got into the .41 Mag scene,if your a handloader its a great caliber,if not its an expensive one at best.I think a Taurus Tracker in .41 would be a good revolver,I have the Tracker in .357 Mag and its a great shooting pistol.I was looking into buying a Taurus in the Tracker when I ran across a lightly used Ruger Redhawk and couldnt resist the urge.Alas I will just have to live with the decision.

    They shoot pretty darn well.

    Krunchnik,
I feel your pain.....it took me three times to realize how much I love the 41 mag prior to buying the 415.

    Three stainless Redhawks in 41 mag. A 7.5" with a Leupold scope, a 5.5" and a custom 4".

Thats a very nice Ruger collection,I currently have a SP101 and a Hunter MK III in stainless, between Taurus and the Rugers I think they pretty well cover any a person would need.Everything from target practice to serious hunting.

My Dad has that very same Dan Wesson in .41,my brother has informed me that he wants it badly some day. They are great shooting revolvers, considering a person can set their own cylinder gap and barrel tension.
