5 star speedloaders and protector poly

Got my 5 star speedloader today. Its very nice and with a little jiggling works without grip modification. I modified my grip a tad and made it perfect.

Nice. Looks like that should work the same way on a Taurus 85 stainless.

    Thanks,

I have a 5Star for my Judge. It's quality through and through.

Im loving it. It fits pretty good you can spin the cylinder with the speedloader attached. Just so everyone knows this is the one that is for the lcr and smith and wessons.

Is it twist to lock and push to release/load??

    Faster than a $10 Safariland?!

The table stands look solid and functional but pricey!

Twist to lock and unlock. They're machined billet aluminum, hence the cost. Faster that Safariland I don't know, but faster than loading one at a time for sure.

I was thinking they were like an all metal HKS. I haven't had any problems with my HKS's yet so I think I will stick with them until I find something they won't fit.

They are smaller in diameter than the HKS. I didnt try the HKS after reading they didnt fit. Have you tried one in a poly?

I've got a 5-star for the .410 shells for my Judge; use regular HKS speedloaders for the .45 Colt and also for my 617 .357 magnum.

The action sounds similar to HKS - twist to release. I've been using them - recently tried Safariland recommended by friends. They are a little clumsy to load but the release is a straight push on the back of the retainer not the handle.

Clumsey to load (so?) but quick to release.

    Not trying to sell anything.

5 Star is certainly the winner in style points!

*i may try to make a load tray out of a piece of hardwood. In my 'spare' time.
