    Taurus ultra lite .357 snubbie?

Does Taurus make an ultra lite version of the .357 snub nose revolver? If so hows it shoot? I had the 85UL and regret selling it to buy a Ruger LCP, which im now gonna sell to get me another snub.

Yessir! It's the 605. I don't own one, so I can't give you a range report, but I'll bet someone will be along to do just that. Wouldn't mind one of those for myself.

I have one but have not been able to fire it yet because .357 is so hard to find. I dont want my first shots with it to be .38's

After that first cylinder full you will want some 38s around unless you've got a bit of time in with small frame magnums....

I've got a bit of time with a M650 & have fired a Smith scandium J frame 357 so I have some idea of the amount of fun involved.

I have a 605, and it is not ultra light, but plenty light enough for s 357. I have replaced the stock grips, with Hogue Monogrips, and it is very controllable, and fun to shoot.

What Mikeo said. Thats how I have my 605 set up. I shoot mostly 38's for practice, but carry .357. I usually put about 50 rounds of .357 through it each range trip just to remember the recoil.

The gun store did not have any .357 UL's so I picked up an 85UL with a 2.5' barrel for $299. The 605's were just a bit heavy for everyday carry. Figure the +P's will do just fine.

Congrats on the new gun. A range report in mandatory in these parts.

Went to pick it up today, saw a 709 Slim and took that home instead. Few bucks more but sweet little gun.
