Congrats on the new 44C !! I might have given you more for the 441 than he did though.......but what's done is done. Give us a range report on your new gun when you get a chance.
I went to a gun show today with the idea of looking for a medium sized .44 magnum revolver. For trading fodder I took my very nice Taurus model 441.I really like the 441 but I would rather have the option of shooting .44 magnum as well as .44 special.I wound up trading for a really new looking but pre-owned Tracker Model 44C.I like everything I see in this revolver.
I wiull get a chance to shoot it on my regular range day Wednesday.
Any comments on this revolver will be greatly appreciated.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

You may be right on the value of that 441. I had to do some digging just to find it. Stan what was the barrel length on your 441 and what is the barrel length on your tracker (if you don't mind my asking)?Originally Posted by texastaurusguy

The 441 was 4" blued and the new M44C is 4".It looks exactly like the picture of yours which you posted above.

I would have given more than what he got for trade-in because i really dig the 431 and 441. I'd also like to happen across a Rossi 720 again.....ran into one in a gun shop late last year, and by the time I secured the money for layaway that afternoon, it was gone......![]()

I've been doing some research on discontinued Tauri revolvers and saw that the 441 came in a 3 inch barrel length also, which is a bit of an oddity for Taurus revolvers. Stan have fun at the range on Wednesday and let us know how yer new 44C shoots.
