I think the best option for a 605 grip is the Hogue monogrip. It gives you the ultimate in controllability, and fits great, too. Unfortunately, it only comes in black.
So.. I just barely picked up a new 605 stainless with the 2 inch barrel and I;m wondering what kind of grips I have the option of getting for this.. just FYI, its going to be used for a females CCW firearm. so not only something functional but stylish also. anyone have any suggestions? thanks guys!
Gee
People dont want "gun control" they want "CRIMINAL control"!

Hogue makes a lot of choices in wood as well. I have both rubber and rosewood for my 605.
Old age isn't for pansies!!
Due to the rising cost of ammo. A warning shot will NOT be fired!!

My used 605 came with both the original, small (two fingers and the pinkie underneath) which may be the better option for carry; but for shooting magnums I much prefer the larger set which allows all fingers for a fuller grip.

Don't overlook the Pachmayr compact. My wife has one on her S&W M36 and it's a real sweet grip.

i dont know what the best is for carry, but i just put m85 wood grips on my 605 and now my pinky finger almost fits on there now. and i like the look tooo.
I had a set for a bit. HKS speedloaders wouldn't clear it, just like the factory stocks.Pachmayr compact
I personally called Taurus and ordered the "Combat Grips" for my 605, they have worked great for me, and do a good job of soaking up the recoil of hot .357 Mag loads.
I did the same as Taurus357. My 605 and my 650 have the Taurus Combat Grips. The price is right all so.
I got my houge grips befor firing the first round
