I was sniffing around Sportsmans Warehouse® (Lacey, WA) and was able to put my Donut Holders on a few Taurus® guns. A Mdl 608 w/6½" barrel #(608SS6), and a Mdl 44 w/same barrel length (#44SS6) were priced $499.99. The third gun was a 5 shot 44 Mag Tracker w/a 4" barrel (#44TRACKER4SS) for ten bucks less at $489.99. As you can see by the model numbers all three guns were matte stainless steel.
I'm beginning to rethink the used Mdl 44B4 that a lady has for sale for $250.00. :???:
How do the prices for the three new guns compare for same weapons in your area?
Hey badge851, I have not been in the market for, nor have I seen any prices
on large frames. But I just wanted to make a comment on your signature lines,
just above your Taurus info, very very cool!!
There's federal way discount guns, and there is the sportsman's warehouse up the street. Both are on pacific highway in federal way. If you take the highway 18 exit west off of I-5, the first intersection you see has the sportsman's warehouse in the southwest corner, if you turn right on that intersection and head about 3/4 mile north on pacific highway, you will see federal way discount guns on the right hand side in a strip mall next to an authentic mexican taco shop. A word of caution though, they do tend to have a bias against taurus, but still carry them for cheaper than the sportsman's warehouse and they give a LEO discount for certain brands. They are closed on Sundays.
The sportsman's warehouse up here has been cleaned out of any semi auto rifles since november, including mini-14's. I am thinking about heading up there today for some powder, I'll check the prices on taurus revolvers to see if it's worth the drive up.

Was at the sportsman's and I couldn't get help at the counter. The wall looked preatty bare, but there was a taurus m44 up there and a 6 inch looked like a tracker .357 couldn't tell you the prices though because I couldn't see the tags and it was too crowded to get any help. on top of that they were out of powder too

Thanks for making the effort. I would not be surprised to see Sportsmans Warehouse® go T!TS UP any day now.
