Another Taurus came home today - Model 17C 17 HMR

I didn't need another caliber, but this was just too sweet and reasonable to pass up. Walmart always has a bunch of ammo for it.
Guns are a lot like sex. If asked "how was the worst sex you ever had?", most men would say "terrific". Guns are much the same. This little guy makes 8 tiny holes when you feed him full. It's comparable to an S&W J frame round butt and packs a wallop at the other end with no more recoil than a 22 lr. Nice little plinker. I really have to stay away from the LGS. It's like a candy store. I bought this used on GB and there isn't any wear or a single mark on it. The bright spots on the muzzle are glare. Taurus did a great job with this one. Good as brand new.

    Old age isn't for sissy's!!
Don't give up the ship!! Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry!!
Due to the rising cost of ammo. A warning shot will NOT be fired!!

Very nice!! That would make a great squirrel getter. .17 HMR is such a cool caliber.

Nice one - I been wondering about 17's - may add a 17 revolver to my wish list.
