WOW! Nice report you two! Very impressed with the Taurus plant. I am amazed at the small number of weapons in the repair area! The sceptic in me wants to think you left out a rack or two.....![]()
Props to Taurus for inviting you guys, they did something 95% of fire-arm manufactures wouldn't do. They are obviously proud of what they do and are not afraid to show it.![]()

'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.' Thomas Jefferson
Very cool. I am a new Taurus owner. I just got a 6-1/2" barreled S/S Judge (2-1/2" Chamber). I was looking for destructions on how to either completely disassemble it or at least remove the cylinder so I could do a thorough cleaning as the cylinder turned but not very freely. Figured shipping grease was packed in there. So I Googled it and found this site. Had to join to see the pictures and this thread is the second thread I’ve read. Very nice write-up indeed. Awesome souvenirs too. Way better than the freebie stuff at the Jelly Belly tour. So anyhow, I’m glad I joined. Seems like a nice site.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you.
Remember; never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
The things that come to those that wait will be the scraggly crappy junk left by those that got there first.
So when are you going to Brazil to have a look at the operation down there?
This CNC machine was produced by 'Eurotech'. Does Glock, H&K, Steyr, and other European manufacturers use similar CNC technology?
If they do, then how can Taurus firearms possibly be considered inferior?
This particular CNC machine is labeled 'NEXUS' 410A-2. The term, Nexus, was originally used in the 1982 cult sci-fi movie, "Blade Runner" The replicants that Deckard (Harrison Ford) hunted were called Nexus VI models. This otherwise meaningless, yet trendy term has been used as a name for health and beauty aid products as well.
Just exactly what is it about shall not be infringedthat is so difficult to comprehend?
Taurus 24/7 DAO 9x19
Taurus PT-99 AFS 9x19
They are not inferior, that's just propaganda like when the French invaded Mexico. They were all inferior until they won their independence with a big bang.
“I think the Taurus 24/7, in any version, is a gun you can stake your life on. I’m staking mine.
And I think the Taurus 24/7 OSS is about to give the competition an interesting challenge.”
Dick Metcalf, Writer - Guns&Ammo Magazine (June/2007)[SIGPIC]
What are the other gun companies that Taurus makes parts for?
U.S. Army (retired)

Thank you for sharing the pics! Very impressed with their facility. Thank you to Taurus as well for opening up their doors for us all to see.
